Bishop Robert Honors the Legacy of Dr. Jack Hayford

Bishop Robert joins Bill Johnson and others in honoring Pastor Jack Hayford

Bishop Robert Stearns has been honored to serve on The King’s University Board of Trustees for many years. As a board member, he has helped oversee the vision of Dr. Jack Hayford to transform The King’s College and Seminary in Van Nuys, California, into its next level of impact as The King’s University (TKU) based on the Gateway Church campus in Southlake, Texas.

The TKU board, including Bishop Robert, hosted An Evening at The King’s on October 22nd to honor Pastor Jack Hayford and to announce the establishment of the Jack Hayford Endowment for The King’s Seminary, to continue in Pastor Jack’s heart to educate and equip the next generation of Christian pastors and leaders with a Spirit-empowered education.

The event was highlighted by the attendance of many special guests and leaders, including Pastor Robert Morris of Gateway Church, Kathie Lee Gifford and  Nicole C. Mullen.  Gavin MacLeod, Pat Boone, and Pastor Bill Johnson were also in attendance with Bishop Robert as shown below. It was a special night of testimony and musical sharing, including a special rendition by Nicole C. Mullen of “My Redeemer Lives.” The night concluded with a special medley of many of Pastor Jack’s most famous songs, sung by the entire room. Pastor Jack closed with a heartfelt testimony that moved the room with the inspiration of God’s love and faithfulness.

Through this wonderful gathering, a modern-day father in the faith was honored by Bishop Robert and many other leaders, and this amazing legacy will be secured for generations to come.
