Dear Brother Stearns,

Two weeks ago I went to the emergency room here in Florida, where we retired 5 years ago after living in New Jersey for many years.

I went to the ER because I couldn’t breathe. After only a few tests, I was found with two different kinds of cancer: multiple myeloma and very aggressive lymphoma. Last Thursday I got the first treatment of chemotherapy.

This has been an unbelievable experience for everyone, but we have a supernatural God!

I write to you because one of the small things I can’t do is simply breathe. I always enjoyed your music, and I saw you many times at worship conferences in New Jersey. I love the River Instrumental CD volume 2: Breathe, and I have been listening to it day and night. I can breathe at the same time with the music, especially with the song Blessed Assurance.

Now I do not need the inhalation pump so often. You have been a blessing through the years, and I want you to know how blessed I am to be able to breathe with every stroke of the piano in your anointed music. Please keep me in prayer, as this difficult road has just started.
