성경과 교회사는 우리가 주님의 말씀에 귀와 마음을 닫는다면 그 대가를 스스로 치르게 될 것임을 상기시켜 줍니다. 말씀하시는 하나님과 그 말씀을 듣는 교회가 없다면, 우리에게는 아무것도 없습니다. 오늘날 미국의 많은 교회는 겉으로는 “성령 충만한” 것처럼 보이지만, 우리가 “간절히 사모해야 할, 특히 예언의 은사”인 성령의 은사가 발휘되는 증거는 전혀 보이지 않습니다. 반대로, “성령 충만한” 세계에는 사기꾼과 장사꾼들이 넘쳐나며, 심야 기독교 TV 방송과 인터넷 ‘WORD’를 통해 활동하고 있지만, 진정한 ‘WORD’는 전혀 없습니다.
이러한 혼란 속에서 우리는 회개하고, 우리 가운데 참되고 순수한 예언적 계시가 회복되도록 하나님께 간절히 부르짖어야 합니다.
오늘 이 시각에 주님의 말씀이 회복될 것임을 믿으며, 회개와 돌아옴으로 주님께 마음을 여는 이 자리에 함께해 주십시오.
