The Israel Experience Young Adults team up with the Eagles’ Wings Initiative – Abraham’s Bread

Eagles’ Wings has Abraham’s Bread feeding centers in Jerusalem and Tiberias that provide hot meals to hundreds every day who are living in poverty. Jews, Arabs, Christians, and all who are in need are welcomed to experience God’s love as we meet these practical needs.

During the Israel Experience two-week adventure pilgrimage, travelers have various opportunities to serve the people of Israel. This past year, the Israel Experience trip overlapped the Shavuot (Pentecost) holiday. There was much need at the feeding center to prepare meals for families for this holiday. Because so many places would be closed during the holiday, Israel Experience travelers packed meals in boxes so families in need could get a full meal even when places were closed.

Sarah from the trip said, “We’re just getting to serve the community here in Jerusalem, and it’s super awesome!”
