待望の「ロサンゼルス・セレブレート・イスラエル」イベントは、今や歴史の一ページとなりました。1月19日（日）の夜、まさに歴史的な瞬間が刻まれたのです。 マイケル・フィッシャー博士が牧師を務めるカリフォルニア州コンプトンのグレーター・ザイオン・チャーチ・ファミリーにおいて、開会の挨拶から閉会のアーロン式（大祭司の）祈りまで 、その夜は超自然的な力が強く感じられる一夜となりました 。

ロバート・スターンズ司教は、会場に漂い、出席者全員に明らかだったあの異例の雰囲気を繊細に察知し、その夜を巧みに進行させました。スターンズ司教は、歴史を通じてユダヤ人とキリスト教会との間に存在してきた隔たりを埋めることで、「イーグルス・ウィングス／ネクサス」の活動が持つ聖書的な意義を伝え、その夜の基盤を築きました。「これは新たな日の始まりであり、私たちのユダヤ人の友人は、二度と孤独に立ち向かうことはないでしょう」と、スターンズ司教は、歓声と熱気に包まれた満員の会場に向けて語った。

Jews and Christians, standing together side by side in a crowded house, sang, wept, laughed, and danced together for nearly three hours. His exhortation from the book of Exodus taught us of the “true” intention of Pharaoh in withholding straw from the Hebrews in the brick making process… it was to incite them to fight one another. But when we stand together as a family, we are united to overcome any obstacle.

また、ロサンゼルス大都市圏に 新たに着任されたヒレル・ニューマン総領事を基調講演者としてお迎えできたことを光栄に思います。ニューマン総領事は、地域各地から集まった熱気あふれる聴衆に対し、イスラエル国およびユダヤ人からの挨拶を伝えました。総領事の言葉は、キリスト教教会がイスラエルや世界中のユダヤ人の友人たちと連帯することの重要性を、強く印象づけました。総領事の演説は、度々、拍手や歓声によって中断されるほどでした。

最後に、ロバート・スターンズ司教とマイケル・フィッシャー牧師は、イスラエルに対する深い思いと、聖書を信じるクリスチャンたちによって、ユダヤ人の友人たちが二度と見捨てられたと感じることのないよう確かな措置を講じる必要性を訴えました。

夕暮れが近づくにつれ、予期せぬ出来事が自然に起こり始めました。「イーグルス・ウィングス／ネクサス」の友人たちが、会場のあちこちで立ち上がり、スターンズ司教と共にさらに多くのミレニアル世代の牧師たちをイスラエルへ派遣するための資金を寄付すると誓い始めたのです。数分のうちに、ミニストリーチームからの呼びかけもなく、5万ドルを超える寄付が集まりました……それは、スターンズ司教の偉大な働きと「イーグルス・ウィングス」の世界的な運動を引き継ごうと心に動かされた個人たちによる、自発的な行動だったのです。

The night concluded with an afterglow of fellowship with Jewish and Christian leaders enjoying a kosher meal together.
