[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1614958238906{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]We are privileged to be living in times when the eyes of the Church are being opened once again to the Jewish roots of our faith and to the elder brother that we have in the Jewish people. For far too long our two communities have been divided, splintered apart by the subversive actions of anti-Semitism and suspicion. But with God’s help we are discovering that our faith communities have more in common than what divides us – that our heritage is from the same root and that we are forever connected in the heart of God’s purpose.

“Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants— Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant— even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:6-7

To all those who draw near “to love the name of the Lord,” God says He will bring us to His holy mountain of Zion (Jerusalem) to participate in His Kingdom agenda of worship and prayer to call forth blessing to the world.

그래서 하나님의 백성들이 모여 그분을 찬양하시는 곳이면 어디든, 그분가운데 계신다고 약속하십니다.
그러나 하나님께서 그분의 말씀의 성취로 그분의 백성들이 모이도록 구별하신 특정한 물리적 장소도 있는데, 그것은 예루살렘 성입니다. 이스라엘 백성은 일 년에 세 번 주님의 절기 동안 성전에서 그분을 경배하라는 하나님의 명령에 따라 예루살렘에 모였으며, 오늘날 우리는 유대인과 이방인을 막론하고 예배자들이 한때 성전이 서 있던 통곡의 벽에서 기도하고 예배하는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

하나님께서는 전 세계 기독교인들의 눈과 마음을 이스라엘의 중심적인 중요성으로 돌리고 계실 뿐만 아니라, 이 일이 일어나면서 우리가 예루살렘을 중심으로 한 하나님의 집으로 영적으로나 육체적으로 집으로 돌아갈 때 그분이 말씀하신 기쁨을 전 세계에 풀어 놓으십니다.
이제 는 신자로서 우리가 경전에서 예언된 "모든 나라"의 일부가 되고, 하나님께서 이 시기에 그분의 백성들 사이에서 계시하시는 기쁨을 경험할 때입니다. 그분이 하시는 일에 대해 하나님을 찬양하고, 이 역사적인 시대에 그분의 백성들처럼 함께 발전합시다!
