1/30/2024 – Day #1 National Gathering for Prayer & Repentance, Washington, D.C.

 In Frontlines

I’m in Washington, D.C., this week for a series of diplomatic meetings with faith and governmental leaders. The meetings center around the global pressure surge upon people of faith and what global leaders must do in response to it. I’ll be on the frontlines representing your voice on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.

The meetings began last night as I had the honor of being a keynote speaker for Faith under Fire, hosted by Rev. Joseph D’souza, the Archbishop of the Good Shepherd Church of India. The evening explored the fundamental shift happening right now in places such as India and Hong Kong. While persecution has always been a part of the Church’s experience, key nations have intensified the maltreatment.

I charged the church leaders to carry hope, describing it as our greatest weapon. Explaining how the Judeo-Christian worldview is the bulwark against religious and secular extremism, protecting the dignity of each and every human life. Finally, describing the existential crisis Israel faces from Hamas and the responsibility of the Church to speak and act. The Church cannot be complacent in the face of this, or any, antisemitism.

The evening closed in prayer and a mutual resolve to stand in the gap as intercessors and advocates for the persecuted and oppressed.

Then, this morning, I had the great privilege of speaking with a dear friend of mine, Gordon Robertson on The 700 Club regarding an incredibly important event taking place tomorrow.

For the first time in history, Pastors and Rabbis will meet on Capitol Hill to walk the halls of Congress together and speak with lawmakers on behalf of the State of Israel and the Jewish people, regarding many current issues.

Please keep me and the whole team in your prayers and continue in your generous support as we navigate this vital time in our nation’s capitol.
