My boys and I were in Jerusalem when we awoke to loud sirens echoing across the city, warning of impending rockets. We rushed to the bomb shelter much like we would several times a day for the next several days. Even before we knew of the horror that was taking place in the South, we sensed that something was different.

For the next several days, we shared with the world what we were experiencing and sought to be a Mordecai to an Esther church to awaken the global Christian community into urgent prayer and action.

In response to this tragedy and the resulting war, Eagles’ Wings has launched the “I Stand with Israel” Emergency Fund to raise $250,000 to help support Israel.

We have already had an incredible response of people joining together to support Israel. One of the practical ways we are standing with Israel is by helping provide needed equipment for small Israeli communities like Sde Boaz.

Sde Boaz is literally “the field of Boaz” referred to in Ruth 2:3. Located outside of Bethlehem, it is one of many thriving Jewish communities that today are in danger of violence from surrounding Arab villages, incited by the recent Hamas attack.
