For Israel and the Nations: “The Send” Mobilizes Believers Across Brazil

The Send Brasil 2026 brings together tens of thousands of young Christians nationwide in one of the largest coordinated prayer events in Brazil’s history.

Recife, Brazil: January 31, 2026 – Tens of thousands of Brazilian Christians packed into five stadiums across the country to mark The Send Brasil 2026—a powerful gathering to fan the flames of revival throughout the nation and to mobilize global mission and impact for God’s Kingdom. At Arena de Pernambuco, near the city of Recife, Bishop Robert Stearns of Eagles’ Wings joined numerous leaders in addressing a crowd of more than 60,000 Christians, including a vast number of believers under the age of 30.

One of the great catalysts for the ministry of The Send in Brazil over the past several years has been Teo Hayashi and the Dunamis Movement, who have partnered with the leadership of Andy Byrd from The Send, along with many others who have spearheaded this widespread effort throughout Brazil.

In addition to a host of major ministries from across Brazil, Bishop Stearns joined influential ministers and worship leaders from the United States and other nations who collaborated for the event, including Cindy Jacobs, Rick Warren, Paul Wilbur, and many others.

Bishop Stearns shared afterward that as he came to the stage, he felt compelled to pray for the release of a watchmen anointing over Brazil—to stand courageously with Israel. From the platform, he declared, “Jerusalem is a real place with real people, and one day a real King will open the eastern sky… the real King will come to reign in Jerusalem. Our Messiah will come—and we have been called to prepare the way of the Lord!”

In that significant moment, the more than 60,000 young Brazilian Christians who were gathered turned toward the East and lifted their voices in unison, praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Bishop Stearns blew the shofar, and a roar of prayer, intercession, and fervent faith filled the stadium. In attendance was the highest-ranking Israeli official in Brazil, Rasha Athamni, Counselor and Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Israel in Brasília. The convocation prayed over her for protection, as well as for the Jewish community throughout Brazil.

Simultaneously, Pastor Rusty Nelson of the Israel Christian Nexus was addressing another 60,000 young believers at a separate stadium across the country—part of what has been described as the largest multi-stadium Christian gathering in Brazil’s history. Together, these parallel gatherings resulted in more than 120,000 young Brazilians receiving a clear and unified call to stand with Israel and the Jewish people.

Through efforts such as these, massive numbers of believers in Brazil have forged close ties with the nation of Israel and continue to stand at the forefront of a global movement extending friendship to Israel and the Jewish people—while also making a profound impact around the world for God’s Kingdom. In the days to come, there is every reason to believe that this fruit will continue to increase on behalf of Israel, not only in Brazil, but in many other nations across the globe, as God stirs and mobilizes His people by the power of His Spirit.
