" Abraham's Bread"- Suppenkuechen in Jerusalem und Tiberias versorgen jeden Tag mehrere hundert bedürftige Menschen, die in Armut leben. Juden, Araber, Christen- alle, die in Not sind, sind willkommen und sollen auf diese Weise die Liebe Gottes erfahren.
Die Statistiken sind ernüchternd:
- 1,7 Millionen Israelis (Juden und Araber) leben unterhalb der Armutsgrenze*.
- 1 von 3 Kindern hat nicht einmal eine warme Mahlzeit pro Tag.
- Viele ältere Holocaust-Überlebende können sich keine Grundnahrungsmittel leisten oder sind zu krank, um sich selbst zu versorgen.
Neue Olim (Einwanderer) kommen, um Aliyah (Bürger Israels) ohne Geld zu machen; einige entkommen extremer Verfolgung und Armut mit nur der Kleidung auf dem Rücken. Deine Gabe wird einen Unterschied in ihrem Leben machen.
