This October 4th will be the 18th annual Global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ). The DPPJ has grown into the largest united prayer movement for Jerusalem in history with representatives in over 175 nations, more than 1500 major Christian leaders from all denominations representing over 500,000 churches worldwide, and resources available in over 20 languages!
This prayer movement mobilizes millions of evangelical Christians across the globe to pray for the city of Jerusalem with one voice, united on the first Sunday of every October for the past 18 years. And this year on Sunday, October 4th from every corner of the globe, a unified prayer will arise for peace according to Psalm 122. In contrast to the rising shrill voice of global anti-Semitism, the DPPJ calls Christians to stand with God’s covenant people and land, and bless all her inhabitants.
