In a historic show of solidarity, 120 senior Christian leaders meet with Israel’s President and First Lady, women Members of Knesset, and an October 7 survivor on Eagles' Wings trip.

Jerusalem, Israel: February 26, 2026 – At a moment of heightened regional tensions and amid the looming threat of Iranian aggression, a historic delegation of 120 influential Christian women leaders has arrived in Israel, delivering a clear and unequivocal message of solidarity with the State of Israel and the Jewish people.

The visit marks the largest delegation of Christian women leaders ever to travel to Israel.

The delegation includes senior Evangelical leaders who collectively influence hundreds of thousands of Christians across the United States and internationally. Participants include women pastors, faith leaders, media personalities, academics, CEOs, public figures, and a prominent social influencer from the Arab world.

During their visit, the delegation will:

  • Meet with Israel’s President Isaac Herzog and First Lady Michal Herzog

  • Engage with female government ministers and Members of Knesset from both coalition and opposition parties

  • Travel to Bethlehem to meet with Amira Canawati, wife of the mayor, and a group of Palestinian Christian women

  • Visit the Nova music festival memorial site and hear firsthand testimony from an October 7 survivor

The mission is an initiative of Eagles’ Wings, an international Christian organization that for nearly three decades has built bridges between Jews and Christians through advocacy, relationship-building, and direct engagement with Israel. Since October 7 alone, Eagles’ Wings has led 24 solidarity missions and has brought more than 800 pastors and over 40,000 Christian pilgrims to Israel.

Bishop Robert Stearns, Founder and President of Eagles’ Wings, stated:

“We are proud to come to Israel during these sensitive days. These courageous women are here to stand with, support, and strengthen the Jewish people. We are partnering with Christian ministries and denominations worldwide to establish a spiritual Iron Dome of prayer surrounding the State of Israel and the Jewish people. Now more than ever, we are committed to bringing the Christian world and the Jewish people closer together.”

Sue Ten Eyck, Senior Member of Eagles’ Wings and Trip Director, added:

“It is no coincidence that we are here during the time of Purim. As in Esther’s day, dark forces threaten Israel. We are here to pray, to listen, and to stand in unwavering solidarity.”

As the delegation continues its meetings and site visits across Israel, Bishop Robert Stearns plans to join the mission. His arrival comes amid ongoing personal death threats related to his outspoken advocacy for Israel. Nevertheless, he remains steadfast in his commitment to stand visibly and publicly with the Jewish people during this critical hour.

The message of the delegation is clear: solidarity will not be intimidated, faith will not be silenced, and the bonds between Christians and Jews will continue to grow stronger—even in the face of rising threats.
