On May 4 to 6, more than 500 Jewish and Christian leaders from across the United States will gather in the nation’s capital for Israel Advocacy Day, a bipartisan, interfaith, and cross-denominational initiative to strengthen support for Israel at a critical moment in history.
Washington, D.C.:April 29, 2026 –Building on the momentum of prior years, a delegation of hundreds of rabbis, pastors, and influential faith leaders will meet with members of congressional offices to advocate for pro-Israel legislation and to raise their voices in fighting for Judeo-Christian values.
Israel Advocacy Day is a collaborative effort bringing together a broad coalition of national and international ministries, organizations, and leaders committed to standing with Israel. The gathering reflects a growing unity across faith communities and a shared conviction to engage both spiritually and civically in support of Israel and the Jewish people.
Now in its second year, participation has more than doubled, reflecting the increasing urgency and influence of this united movement. In a post-October 7 world, and amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, the security of Israel has become an increasingly pressing concern not only for the nation itself, but for the stability of Western society more broadly.
The 2026 gathering will open with the Israel Advocacy Day Gala on May 4, an evening designed to set the tone for the days ahead through vision, unity, and high-level engagement. The gala will be emceed by Erick Stakelbeck, host of The Watchman, and will feature a distinguished lineup of voices including The Honorable Roy K. Altman, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida; Kathy Branzell, President of the National Day of Prayer Task Force; and Rabbi Pini Dunner, who will offer opening invocations. Additional featured speakers include Dr. Susan Michael of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem – USA; Jordanna McMillan of the Israel Allies Foundation; and Eric David Fingerhut of the Jewish Federations of North America.
Also appearing is Stella Inger-Escobedo, an Emmy Award-winning journalist with One America News and a Soviet Jewish refugee, bringing a unique and powerful perspective to the evening. The gala will feature a special performance of the national anthem by Ghazal Mizrahi, whose voice has brought inspiration and comfort to audiences around the world, as well as a rendition of “Hatikvah,” Israel’s national anthem, by Bishop Robert Stearns of Eagles’ Wings and the Israel Christian Nexus.
Following the gala, participants will engage in a strategic mobilization breakfast and advocacy training on May 5, before heading to Capitol Hill for scheduled meetings with congressional offices. These conversations are designed to foster meaningful dialogue, strengthen relationships, and communicate the enduring importance of the U.S.–Israel alliance. The gathering will conclude with a debrief reception, equipping participants with next steps for continued engagement both in Washington and within their home communities.
As antisemitism accelerates globally and Israel faces mounting political and cultural pressure, faith leaders are increasingly recognizing the importance of engagement not only within their congregations, but also in the public square. Israel Advocacy Day serves as a catalytic platform to mobilize those leaders, many of whom will go on to lead advocacy efforts, educational initiatives, and trips to Israel within their own communities.
Those unable to attend in person are invited to tune into the livestream of the Gala on May 4, making it possible for supporters across the country to be part of this significant moment.
The schedule of events this year in D.C. will include the Israel Advocacy Gala on May 4, a mobilization breakfast on May 5, and finally advocacy appointments in Congress in the afternoon of May 5. These meetings are specially designed to foster constructive dialogue with lawmakers, strengthen relationships, and communicate the importance of the continued U.S.–Israel partnership. A debrief reception will further solidify strategies for engagement with Congressional offices for the coming weeks, as well as ways to achieve a greater impact in the communities represented by these leaders around the nation.
