First Fruits
I want to wish you and your family a very happy New Year in these opening days of 2025, and I pray that activating a specific, biblical principle today will unlock a harvest of blessing and abundance as we start this new year for you and your loved ones…
Remember the words of Jesus to us on the Mount of Beatitudes as He taught about life: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.“ (Matthew 6:33) This is a guiding principle to living life abundantly.
This foundational principle will bring everything into alignment for you, your family, your career, and affect your entire year…and what we decide to do now, in the first month, will determine what happens for the remainder of the year, 2025.
What I am referring to is God’s Principle of First Fruits — “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase;” Proverbs 3:9 (NKJV).
As followers of Christ, we are called to navigate the complexities of life through the lens of God’s kingdom principles, rather than follow the disappointing ways of the world.
ALL FIRST THINGS belong to God – the first of your day, your week, your month, your year, your time, your family, and your increase. Each of these areas of life holds the potential to either honor the Lord FIRST…or not.
I ask you at the beginning of this new year: will you align your life with the system of the world, or will you wholeheartedly embrace the superior ways of the Almighty?
