Annual Christian Solidarity Event in D.C.

On Friday, May 3rd, Bishop Robert Stearns and Eagles’ Wings staff members were invited to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C. for the Annual Christian Solidarity Event. Bishop Stearns sang both the National Anthem of the United States and the Hatikva (the National Anthem of Israel).

The event was attended by Washington dignitaries and Christian leaders throughout the U.S. who have who have had a positive impact on the people and the State of Israel. Eagles’ Wings was honored to be a part of such a distinguished group of leaders who are helping to change the narrative concerning Israel and the Middle East.

Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer told the standing room crowd that anti-Semitism is on the rise in both the U.S. and Europe. The good news, however, is that Christians are helping to combat this growing tide of hatred. Ambassador Dermer also said that Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Christians are the best friends that Israel has.

Bishop Robert Stearns and Eagles’ Wings are passionately committed to the peace and safety of the State of Israel. Through programs like our Millennial Pastors Trips, we are seeing first-hand the transformation of Christian pastors who are now deeply involved in a pro-Israel agenda. The impact that these trips have had to date on believers number into the hundreds of thousands. And our work is only beginning.

We at Eagles’ Wings are currently expanding our vision to move from a ministry to a global movement. Every aspect of the numerous ministries that we are involved with – Abraham’s Bread feeding centers in Tiberias and Jerusalem, Millennial Pastors Trips to Israel, Celebrate Israel events nationwide, Watchmen on the Wall Seminars, the geo-political work that Bishop Stearns is doing with world leaders to extend an olive branch concerning Israel – all of this and more, we are taking to the next level.

We are thrilled by the open doors and influence that Eagles’ Wings is enjoying in this season… but we are also aware that none of this could happen without our partners.
