Christians Join Over 10,000 Jews at the Celebrate Israel Festival in Los Angeles!

One of the largest Israel Independence Day (Yom Ha’Atzmaut) celebrations in the U.S. takes place yearly in Los Angeles every May.

This year, Bishop Robert Stearns and the Israel Christian Nexus Team were again invited to join in the festivities to celebrate 71 years of Statehood for the modern State of Israel.

The festival draws well over 10,000 Jews from the greater L.A. region waving both American and Israeli flags, dancing and singing to live entertainment, and participating in interactive activities, culture, food, and art. There was even a “fly-over” of several planes trailing smoke to add to the excitement of the day. There was entertainment for all age groups that included a Tel Aviv Beach scene complete with sand, shovels, and pails for the kids; horse rides; and dozens of vendors all communicating the story of Israel.

Nexus team members shared the stories with festival goers for more than 7 hours, telling how Christian leaders have been deeply impacted by the life-changing trips to Israel with Bishop Robert Stearns.

The Israel Christian Nexus under the leadership of Bishop Stearns had a well-supplied booth set up with information on the mission of the Israel Christian Nexus and the successes of recent trips to Israel with hundreds of influential Millennial pastors. Nexus team members shared the stories with festival goers for more than 7 hours, telling how Christian leaders have been deeply impacted by the life-changing trips to Israel with Bishop Robert Stearns. Today, hundreds of thousands of Christians have been impacted by these Millennial leaders who have begun to change the narrative concerning Israel and the Jewish people.

The Israel Christian Nexus led by Bishop Stearns was then invited to the platform to join Congressmen, Senators, and the Mayor of Los Angeles, as well as State Department Special Envoy, Elan Carr, of the Trump Administration, to address the excited and energetic crowd of many thousands. The message of the impact that the Israel Christian Nexus is having worldwide on Christian leaders was met with enthusiastic cheers, rounds of applause, and ovations.

We are thrilled by the traction that the Israel Christian Nexus is having around the country and the world, thanks to the unending work and devotion of Bishop Stearns and the Israel Christian Nexus/Eagles’ Wings Team – and there are no plans to slow down our efforts. Plans are being laid to increase our trips to Israel with influential Millennial leaders to be a part of the solution to end anti-Semitism around the globe. We cannot do this vital work without the help, prayers, and gifts of our devoted partners.

With your help and support, we can and will bless the Jewish people and continue to educate the Christian Church with the truth of Genesis 12 about the people of covenant. It is an honor to also stand with you, our partners, and represent you in this ongoing battle that we must win!
