“Despise Not Prophecy” Gathering: Coming to Orchard Park, NY

In this pivotal hour, societal change is progressing more quickly with each day that passes – and through the exponential rise in technology, countless voices vie for our attention from the moment we wake up until the end of each day.

What is God saying to His Church in this moment of history? Do we have ears to hear?

Scripture and church history remind us that if we close our ears and heart to the living word of the Lord, we do so at our own peril. If we don’t have a speaking God and a hearing church, we have nothing.

Throughout Scripture, both in the Old and New Testaments, we find exhortations to heed the voices of God’s prophets, and we are also commanded to cultivate an atmosphere in which prophecy can thrive for the edification of believers (I Cor. 14:1-5). Further, we are specifically instructed by scripture to not despise prophecies (I Thess. 5:20).

God is inviting His people back to a true demonstration and understanding of the word of the Lord, so that we may be equipped to do His will. In place of all the distractions that abound around us, the powerful voice of God is speaking – if we will listen and open our hearts.

How do we cultivate a genuine expression of this spiritual gift that the Bible emphasizes – while avoiding the pitfalls and even harmful applications of prophecy which have ensnared many people in the Church?

First, we must determine in our hearts to not let any past abuses or fears associated with the prophetic gift to hinder or silence its authentic reality in our lives today.

Then, we must cry out for God to restore genuine, pure prophetic revelation in our midst. Without it, we will not be able to walk in the fullness of God’s desires for His people in this hour of history.

Finally, coming together as the body of Christ, we must make room for the Holy Spirit to come and have His way among us in a corporate setting, trusting Him to exhort, heal, deliver, and equip His people.

Join us at The Tabernacle in Orchard Park, NY, March 13-15, 2020, as we come together to open our hearts to the Lord in repentance and returning, believing that there will be a restoration of the word of the Lord in this day and this hour. Along with Bishop Robert Stearns and the Eagles’ Wings team, we look forward to welcoming two seasoned and trusted prophetic voices in the body of Christ, David Wagner and Dale Mast, for this key gathering.

Get to know David Wagner in this interview below with Will Hart from Iris Global.

Get to know Dale Mast in this interview below with Steve Shultz, founder of Elijah List on the subject of “Discovering Keys to Your Inheritance.”

We believe that God is powerfully restoring the sense of prophetic hearing to the body of Christ. Come and be a part, and be strengthened like never before!
