In the unprecedented days we are living in, there is a great cry for freedom arising from the people of Iran. Bishop Robert and Eagles’ Wings have been honored to represent the evangelical Christian community at several events in New York and Paris as hundreds of thousands of Iranians gathered to take a stand against the darkness of oppression. We have seen firsthand the extraordinary passion and courage of these people. On Friday, July 17, we joined with the people of Iran as leaders from across the globe, along with thousands of the Iranian people, came together for a historic online event to call for a free Iran.

Co-sponsors of this event included Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, The New York Board of Rabbis; Bishop Dr. Angel Nunez, Bilingual Christian Church; and Rabbi Gerald Sussman, Temple Emmanu-El’s.

Amazingly, the organizers extended an open invitation to the Christian community to participate in this historic moment.
