About Ohio Celebrates Israel

Join us Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 6:00 pm as Christians from the community of faith in Ohio come together for Ohio Celebrates Israel at Victory Christian Center, 3899 McCartney Rd. Coitsville, OH 44436. It will be a powerful night of solidarity with the Jewish people, and a wonderful celebration of the nation of Israel!


Israel is facing many challenges in the world right now, and the community of faith in the region will join together on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 6pm to declare our love and support for Israel and the Jewish People. Please mark your calendar right now and plan to join us for this wonderful evening!

In this moment in Israel’s history, you do not want to miss this opportunity to add your voice to those of others in this region expressing our love and support for Israel and the Jewish people!


This promises to be an exciting night, with many leaders and members of the Jewish Community present as our special guests. Speakers and guests will include representatives from Israel, as well as civic leaders from the region. The evening is free and open to the public, and a special offering will be taken for Israel.

Ambassador Dani Dayan
Ambassador Dani Dayan

Ambassador Dani Dayan, the personal appointment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the position of Consul General of Israel in New York since August 2016.
Ambassador Dayan is originally from Argentina, and he immigrated to Israel with his family 45 years ago. He has served in the high-tech business world for several decades, as well as political and diplomatic positions representing the State of Israel.
He is an Israeli political leader, entrepreneur and advocate. He served as the Chairman of the Yesha Council from 2007 to 2013. Dayan was appointed as Chief Foreign Envoy of the Yesha Council, as the only official representative of the Israeli settlement movement to the international community.
Ambassador Dayan holds a B.Sc in Economics and Computer Science from Bar Ilan University and an M.Sc in Finance from the Tel Aviv University.

Bishop David Thomas
Bishop David Thomas

Bishop David L. Thomas is President of VSOM and Bishop of Victory Christian Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He and his wife, Pastor Kathie Thomas has seen VCC grow into a multi-site, multicultural mega church with eight campuses and over 5,000 people.

Beyond that, he founded and leads Next Level Leadership Network, an international organization spanning denominations that includes churches, missions organizations, and ministers. He is also president and founder of Legacy, A Global Kingdom Alliance which is a network of networks that promotes connecting the generations through Launching a Legacy, Living a Legacy and Leaving a Legacy. Bishop Thomas is also a founding member of John Maxwell Team.

Pastor Juan Rivera
Pastor Juan Rivera

Born in Brooklyn New York, Juan Rivera is an ordained minister with 20 years of experience specializing in preaching, leadership, pastoring, and mentoring. Juan currently lead pastor at Victory Christian Center in Coitsville, Ohio. After two years pastoring in South Jersey, Juan gained great experiences in the business world moving up the corporate ladder. Juan then spent four years as an associate pastor at Victory Christian Center overseeing Missions and their Bible College. Juan has been at the forefront of Jewish-Christian relations and dialogue nationally and internationally.

There is no charge for the event.  An offering will be received to feed the poor in Israel.

No childcare is provided, but older children are encouraged to attend.
